Newly redesigned solid bowl basket centrifuges specially designed for the separation of animal wastes, without the use of polyelectrolytes or any other additive. Click picture for more information. NSF / EPA TESTED AND VERIFIED FOR ANIMAL WASTE SEPARATIONS.

The Triton Separator, a solid bowl basket centrifuge, can be used on flushed dairy, swine, cattle, poultry or other animal manure waste, older lagoon sludges, or to dewater aerobic or anaerobic digester sludge. Possibly can be used on fish waste, algae or other wetlands production. Suitable as a manure separation & thickening device prior to anaerobic digestion.

Eliminates thousands of gallons of water applied to the fields. The centrifuge manure solids dry cake at up to 31% dry material can still be applied to the fields, if desired, without overloading fields with water creating runoff. No more worries about “saturated” fields.

Removes typically 70-85% of suspended solids in fresh flushed dairy or swine manure waste. Test reports available. Lower or higher removal rates possible on request, via changes in feed rate, machine size or G force.

Completed NSF / EPA testing at North Carolina State University with the full size TS-5000 model. Verification report has been published verifying the suitability of the Triton Separator for removing suspended solids from fresh flushed swine manure waste. ONLY manure separation device to date to be NSF verified.

Wide range of manure slurry feed rates, feed solids concentrations and feed materials can be accepted. Minor coarse prescreening recommended, only, for large debris such as gloves, rags, bottles, and misc debris.

No polyelectrolytes or other additives required. Polyelectrolytes can be used if solids removal levels in the high nineties are required. Dosage levels for given solids removal levels are much lower than with decanter type centrifuges.

NITROGEN – PHOSPHORUS: While not specifically designed to remove nitrogen and phosphorus, about 25% of the nitrogen and about 50% of the phosphorus are removed coincidentally when at least 70% of the suspended manure solids are removed, on swine manure. Research is continuing on dairy manure.

Great flexibility with process requirements for solids discharge. Can dewater fresh flushed swine manure solids to about 30% dry solids (pictured) or thicken to about 5-10% per process requirements. Any level between 5-30% can be obtained by easy adjustments.

No full time operator required for continuous operation. Easy to use.

No gearbox or internal conveyor.

No filter media to blind. No filter belts or filter cloths to replace every six (6) months.

Push button on / off for complete and continuous cycles after simple one time keypad setup. Uncomplicated design and operation.

State of the art new controls supplied. Weather / fume resistant. Powder coated enclosures. NEMA 4 operator’s control station.

Production sizes to use 15-75 HP drive motors, depending on centrifuge size and feed rate requirement.

Equipped with 230 volt, single phase, 60 cycle drive system for farm use in outlying locations. 230/3/60, 460/3/60, 575/3/60, 400/3/50 design and other designs (on request) are also available.

All stainless contact parts.

Pneumatic discharge of solids automatic. Small air compressor included and built into the control cabinet.

Reasonable cost. Two sizes currently available. Leasing option available in the states of North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina and Florida through BB & T Leasing, at rate of 2.0-2.5% over prime for five (5) years (subject to confirmation). Call for contact name and phone #. Alternate leasing available in all other States.

Lubrication required only every 400 operating hours via grease gun.

Start up assistance included. A video film for operators will be developed and included with new orders.

A pilot size solid bowl basket centrifuge is available for rental with rental & consulting fees applicable to the purchase of production size basket centrifuges from KCS & C. The pilot size test centrifuge has a bowl with dimensions of 14″ x 6″ and is capable of the same G force as the production units. All pilot test data can be directly scaled up to production feed rates. See adjacent picture.
